But I didn\u2019t mean to do that, and it was definitely a wake-up call,\u201d he told Radio New Zealand (RNZ) following the match. \u201cI wanted to come here and play well, and it ended up being the complete opposite.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm5mdc7fp000w3b6m3nk4ewwb@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            \u201cI was not feeling comfortable. I was throwing my racket, that\u2019s not like me at all,\u201d he continued.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm5mczn8q00073b6m1qwwri2c@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            \u201cAs we saw with some other players, you can easily be defaulted if it catches them in the wrong spot or they\u2019re not looking or something,\u201d the 29-year-old added, according to The Guardian. \u201cI was not meaning to do that and it is completely not me to do something like that. I apologized very quickly and I want to apologize in general. I\u2019m not happy with how I behaved.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm5mczn8q00083b6m32f7evl4@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Novak Djokovic was disqualified from the 2020 US Open when he accidentally hit a ball at a line judge. Similarly, Denis Shapovalov was defaulted in 2017 when he struck the umpire with a ball during a Davis Cup tie against Great Britain.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm5mekhl800003b6mmcx83sf1@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            However, at Wimbledon in 2022, Stefanos Tsitsipas was fined $10,000 but avoided disqualification after he hit a ball into the stands during a fiery third-round match against Nick Kyrgios.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm5mczn8q00093b6mruutwtfv@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            D\u00edaz Acosta will face his Argentine compatriot Sebasti\u00e1n B\u00e1ez in the Round of 16.
