Serbian opposition lawmakers threw smoke grenades and tear gas inside parliament on Tuesday to protest against the government and support demonstrating students, with one legislator suffering a stroke during the chaos.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh0p6a00053b6mdsiwtl36@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Four months of student-led demonstrations have drawn in teachers, farmers and others to become the biggest threat yet to President Aleksandar Vucic\u2019s decade-long rule, with many Serbians denouncing corruption and incompetence in government.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7ugzfkq00003b6mduy7qxyq@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            At the legislative session, after the ruling coalition led by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) approved the agenda, some opposition politicians ran out of their seats towards the parliamentary speaker and scuffled with security guards.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh1lir000b3b6mxvlgaxuo@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Others tossed smoke grenades and tear gas, with live TV showing black and pink smoke inside the parliament, which has also witnessed brawls and throwing of water in the decades since the introduction of multi-party democracy in 1990.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh1kj400093b6mxjeu3g2c@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Speaker Ana Brnabic said two lawmakers were injured, with one, Jasmina Obradovic of the SNS party, suffering a stroke and in critical condition. \u201cThe parliament will continue to work and to defend Serbia,\u201d she told the session.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh1sp2000e3b6mzqtzu7sc@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            As the session continued, ruling coalition politicians debated while opposition lawmakers whistled and blew horns.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh3hos000j3b6mlakxhabp@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Opposition deputies also held signs reading \u201cgeneral strike,\u201d and \u201cjustice for the killed,\u201d while outside the building protesters stood in silence to honor 15 people killed by a railway station roof collapse that was the spark for the protest movement.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh3hos000k3b6my5v6ar8x@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Protest leaders called for a major rally in the capital Belgrade on March 15.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh3hos000l3b6mo0m8a26v@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            The ruling coalition says Western intelligence agencies are trying to destabilise Serbia and topple the government by backing the protests.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh3hos000m3b6m17yft4v9@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Parliament was due on Tuesday to adopt a law increasing funds for universities &#8211; one of the main demands of students blocking faculties since December.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7uh3hos000n3b6m4jj1sfta@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Parliament had also been due to note the resignation of Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.
