And&nbsp;if this is the&nbsp;case, then, bearing in&nbsp;mind the&nbsp;change in&nbsp;the&nbsp;essence of&nbsp;the&nbsp;conflict, we will make appropriate decisions in&nbsp;response to&nbsp;the&nbsp;threats that will be posed to&nbsp;us,\u201d he said.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm0zsqnn600083b6kr4pwjn5o@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            According to the Russian president, \u201cthe&nbsp;Ukrainian army is not capable of&nbsp;using cutting-edge high-precision long-range systems supplied by&nbsp;the&nbsp;West\u201d without Western assistance in targeting.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm0zxtb3n00083b6kmqquipwf@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            The United States already does provide intelligence to Ukraine, and has previously assisted in the targeting, although not with the long-range systems currently being considered.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm0zy30or000i3b6kqd793gw9@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            According to Center for New American Security Senior Fellow Dr. Stacie Pettyjohn, there may also be other intelligence resources available to Ukrainian forces, including commercial satellite imagery, depending on the target.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm0zswvux000e3b6k2ymbl16t@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            In a press conference on Thursday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken reiterated that, as part of continuing military assistance to Ukraine, the United States provides intelligence to Ukrainian forces, but declined to answer whether the US would increase its intelligence sharing.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph-primary-core-light\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm0zt8o1b000p3b6k9oo2h7dm@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            The United States first provided Ukraine with long-range Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) missiles, which have a maximum range of approxmiately 186 miles, in October of 2023.
